Overview

The Jura is considered by divers to be the most famous freshwater wreck in Europe. It lies at approximately 38 metres depth in Lake Constance, depending on the water level.

The Jura was a smooth-deck paddle steamer built of wood that sank in 1864 after a collision with the "Stadt Zürich". This is perhaps the dive site that you must dive at least once in Lake Constance.

Our expeditions offer you the opportunity to explore this historic wreck with experienced guides who know every detail of the site. The wreck is home to diverse freshwater marine life and offers excellent visibility conditions for advanced divers.
